U.S. Department of Education (DoED) Portfolio of Integrated Value-Oriented Technologies Oversight (PIVOT-O); Prime Contract Award
As a Prime Contractor, Patriot LLC (Patriot) and it’s partner OCTO Consulting are responsible for delivering oversight support to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) across 13+ task areas, covering all PIVOT and non-PIVOT operations. We are responsible for ensuring PIVOT service providers are compliant with their operational parameters set in their contracts and tasks. We deliver top-tier Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to the OCIO across all Department IT mission essential activities as well as compliance with Federal and Department statute, directives, policies, and procedures. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides the technological solutions that enable the Department to deliver world-class service to schools, students and their families. To accomplish its mission, OCIO advises and assists the Secretary and other senior officers in acquiring information technology (IT) and managing information resources. OCIO helps these leaders comply with the best practices in the industry and applicable federal laws and regulations, including the Clinger Cohen Act, the Government Paperwork Reduction Act and the Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014. In addition, the agency’s Chief Information Officer is charged with establishing a management framework that leads the agency toward more efficient and effective operations, including improved planning and control of IT investments.
